The SynMat UL 7 gives you comfort and warmth in an ultra-lightweight and compressible package. The reason they pack down so small (average packed size is that of a 1/2 litre bottle) is due to exceedingly compressible microfibre. They have won a series of awards since their launch and also feature Exped's FlatValve Technology which lets you adjust the mat to your sleeping preference easily. Note that compared with standard SynMats these have slightly lower insulating, puncture and abrasion resistance values.
